This year's Bacterial Electron Transfer Meeting took place in sunny Alicante, Spain. PD Dr Christiane Dahl was the keynote speaker and presented her group's research to an international audience. Martina Grosser and Marc Gregor Mohr presented their research as posters. After a stimulating scientific exchange on bacterial electron transfer systems, there was still time to climb the Castell de Santa Bàrbara.
