The “CRISPR-Roadshow” was created as part of a project funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG) to make scientific content such as the CRISPR-Cas gene scissors accessible to the public and travels through various cities. Now the “CRISPR Roadshow” visited us in Bonn at the IfMB!
The program included two fully booked, practical laboratory courses in which participants “CRISPRed” sucessfully, as well as a series of lectures on CRIPSR-Cas in general and the application and bioethics of the system. Art and Science were combined in the workshop “Wissen schafft Kunst” and the theater performance “Micro*Scope” by Miriam Flick.

Our personal highlight were the numerous visitors and participants from a wide variety of backgrounds and across all age groups! Many thanks to everyone who attended for the lively participation and discussions and your great feedback on our program!
