The start-up project1 around Dr. Marcel Hövels and André Neff begins its work in the new co-working labs at the University of Bonn. As part of their prototyping project, the team plans to produce and validate a sweet-tasting dietary fiber that could be used as a sustainable sugar alternative. In the process, the scientists are moving far away from laboratory scale and using a 109-L stainless steel stirred tank to purify their exciting sweetener.
